Virtual Currencies and Fees

Last updated: February 08, 2026

This policy describes how virtual currencies ("Coins") work on Bitkoffee, including acquisition, fees, commissions, and withdrawals.

Acquisition of Coins

Users can acquire "Coins" to use within Bitkoffee to reward creators via micro-tips.

  • Nominal Value: The reference value is 1 Coin = 0.01 USDT/EURC.
  • Purchase Process: Purchases are made through our authorized payment gateway (Plisio). The user is responsible for any network fees (gas fees) associated with transferring crypto assets from their external wallet.

Commissions and Service Fees

When purchasing Coins or making subscriptions, the following charges apply to cover platform operating, maintenance, and processing costs:

Concept Charge / Commission Description
Platform Commission 10% Applied to the value of Coins sent to the creator.
Payment Processing Variable External fees from the blockchain network or payment gateway.
Conversion 1:1 (Net) Coins received by the creator are reflected as currency after applying the commission.

Conversion for Creators

When a Donor sends Coins to a Creator, these are automatically converted into Currency in the Creator's dashboard.

  • The Creator receives the equivalent of 90% of the nominal value of the sent Coins.
  • Example: If a donor sends 100 Coins (1.00 USDT), the creator will receive the equivalent of 0.90 USDT in their accumulated Currency balance.

Withdrawals and Settlement

Creators may request the withdrawal of their accumulated funds under the following conditions:

  • 1. Minimum Withdrawal: The available balance must be equal to or greater than 20 USDT/EURC.
  • 2. Identity: The user must have completed the account verification processes required by the administration.
  • 3. Processing Time: Accumulated monthly balance can be withdrawn starting from the 15th of the following month.

Nature of Virtual Currencies

Coins are not legal tender, have no value outside the Bitkoffee platform, and do not generate interest. Coin purchases are final and non-refundable, unless local law requires otherwise.
